FROM SURVIVING TO THRIVING

Our mission is to reduce youth involvement in violence and increase supports that allow youth and their families to thrive across the greater Denver area.

Youth and families benefit when local school districts, government, and community-based organizations work together. The Denver Resilience Coalition is a youth and community-driven collective that works with key “systems” stakeholders to drive alignment on priorities and transformation in how we work together to achieve them.

Who We Are

The doers who sit within the community, the city, and the school district. We come together to address both tactical and systemic issues that we cannot solve alone. We value integrity and work to ensure that every action we take deepens trust between us. We inspire and learn from each other.

What We Do

We co-create solutions to the challenges that inhibit collaboration across the greater Denver ecosystem. We are currently focused on measuring and monitoring success, promoting program quality and access, developing systems for collaboration, and coordinating collaborative fundraising.

How We Work

We co-create solutions together in impact teams and then go to existing community meetings to listen and learn about pressing priorities and solicit feedback. We annually revisit our strategic priorities, structures, and leadership. We do not wait for others to tell us what to do; we know what to do and we are doing it.
